“Cancer knows no boundaries…”

Many of you have supported our club’s fundraising activities for the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation which sponsors advanced research in cancer treatment and cancer patient care.  Cancer has now affected our club and Conway Arena in a very personal way.  Our Director of Skating Lisa Langley’s husband Arthur has just been diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer.

A GoFundMe page has been established to help Lisa and her family with the many expenses they will face as they confront the challenges ahead.  The Langley family has been integral to the success of the Gate City Figure Skating Club and the skating programs at Conway Arena.   You can show your support here.
